Hi, I’m Olivia a.k.a the Police Coach.
I was medically retired from Lancashire Police in 2015, worked in HR Management and now work as trained and certified coach. My area of expertise is coaching and mentoring police officers who are looking to, or are in the process of, leaving the police service. This can be a difficult time even if you are desperate to leave.
We join the police as a lifelong career and when it doesn’t quite go to plan you can be left feeling kind of lost. I’m here to make the process easier by providing a safe and confidential (and judgement free!) space to talk and explore what the future may look like. Together we can put plans into action and help you transition to a fulfilling life outside of the police.

Coaching
Leaving the police service means you are free to be the real you. Together we work out who that person is. You’ll get to know you what really matters to you – your beliefs, your values and what you want to do in life.
Mentoring
I provide support throughout the process of leaving of leaving the police service– no matter what stage you are at or your reason for leaving. We look at practical steps to take before leaving and once you have left.
Skills Assessment
To sell yourself or a business idea you need to demonstrate your transferable skills – you have LOTS of them from being in the police – great communication, problem solving, conflict management and more!
Career Support
It may have been a while since you’ve applied for a job or had an interview – maybe the only interview you’ve ever had was for the police. We’ll write a compelling CV and cover letter and get you prepped to ace those interviews.
Training Resources
Think you need further training before you can embark on a new direction but not sure where to start? We’ll explore the various training avenues and financial options available to you.
Business Support
Got a great business idea but don’t know how to get started? I can help you set up the administration and business basics side of your business so you can focus on the creative side!
Who I Work With
I am one person rather than a company – meaning that I can only work with a select number of clients. But this also means you get support that is specifically tailored to your situation rather than a one size fits all approach.
My clients may be thinking of leaving the police, be going through the ill health retirement process or have already left. Whichever stage you are at I would love to hear from you!
I am also experienced in working with people who don’t have a background in the police – business owners, students, and people who have worked in other public services.
